smoothest crossover SUVs in its class. What’s more the SUV is

2016 Buick Enclave Exterior

The 2016 Buick Enclave exterior look is futuristic.  The
model is based on a new platform which results in a significant
reduction in its curb weight. The body is made up of
lightweight materials such as aluminum which translates to
around 400 lbs reduction in its curb weight. This transforms to
better fuel economy and handling of the vehicle.

The vehicle will be availed in a wide range of exterior colors.
At the front, the vehicle features a black-chromed waterfall
grille, automatic on/off headlights and LED DRLs. Other
features include heated side mirrors, power lift-gate front
wipers with structure-less wiper blades, rear wipers with
washer and chromed roof-mounted luggage rack side rails.

The leather trim features the same exterior specs. However, the
top Premium trim adds articulating headlights and heated
power-folding side mirrors. The Convenience and Leather trims
will ride on 19-inch aluminum wheels while the Premium will
feature on 19-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels.

all during long drives. The vehicle comes in three trim levels
each with different trimmings.

The trims are Convenience, Leather and Premium. The base
Convenience trim  accommodates 7 passengers and features
8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, power programmable door
locks, power windows, remote starter, door mats, tri-zone

Engine Specs and Performance

Under the hood, the Enclave is powered by a single drive-train.
This engine is a 3.6 L, V-6 which pumps out 288 hp at 6,300 rpm
and 270 lb-ft of torque at 3,400 rpm. The engine is mated to a
6-speed automatic transmission system that conveys the power to
either the front wheels or all wheels. The engine accelerates
from 0-60 mph in 8.6 seconds which is slower than the average
acceleration of large SUVs in the segment. However, most are
equipped with V-8 mills.

The model used to have the best fuel economy ratings in its
class but its competitors have since eclipsed it. It returns 17
mpg city and 24 mpg on highway for FWD models and 16mpg city
and 22 mpg on highway for AWD models. The Acura MDX and the
Infiniti QX60 return up to 27 mpg and 26 mpg for FWD and AWD

The Buick can tow as much as 4,500 lbs. The good thing however
is that the SUV runs on regular unleaded petrol unlike some of
its rivals which run on premium-gasoline.
